What’s been happening:

Mr. David Grabelski currently serves as the Under Graduate Program Director of the Mercyhurst College's Department of Intelligence Studies and as an Assistant Professor. He specializes in law enforcement intelligence and teaches both graduate and undergraduate courses. He holds a BS from Pennsylvania State University and an MA from Pepperdine University. In his first career, he served and retired from the Los Angeles Police Department as a Senior Homicide Detective and Gang Unit Supervisor. His second career was as a Gangs/Drugs/Violence analyst for the US Department of Justice/National Drug Intelligence Center. Additionally for NDIC he taught analysis classes at the local, state, federal levels and for foreign agencies. Dave has also developed academic-based training courses in law enforcement intelligence and advanced critical thinking techniques for police executives at the FBI's National Academy. Recently, he developed training courses for foreign police officers and managers in the identification and development of crime analysis, intelligence management, and intelligence for countering domestic and transnational terrorism. These courses were developed and delivered for the US State Department, Diplomatic Security Office, and Antiterrorism Assistance Program.
